POSITION SUMMARY:

The HVAC Install Supervisor supports both field and office operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HVAC installations. This role involves reviewing job packets to determine the complete Scope of Work necessary to fulfill customer expectations and contractual obligations. The HVAC Install Supervisor is responsible for providing clear instructions and identifying the proper materials to ensure installations comply with local Mechanical Codes and company standards. Strong communication with Technical Support, sales staff, technicians, and installers is essential to achieve prompt and accurate project completion.

JOB PARAMETERS:

The HVAC Install Supervisor position is a full-time salary position, with shifts typically occurring Monday through Friday, occasional weekend work required. Shifts will vary within the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm. Base Pay: $98,000.00 – $119,000.00 / Year

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Installation: Installing HVAC systems according to building plans and specifications. This involves setting up ductwork, piping, wiring, and HVAC units such as furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.
  • Upgrades and Retrofits: Upgrading existing HVAC systems to improve efficiency, reliability, or compliance with building codes and environmental regulations. They may also retrofit older buildings with modern HVAC equipment to enhance comfort and energy savings.
  • Customer Service: Provide 5-star service and quality to our customers making them feel confident about choosing Harts Services.
  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to installation teams, motivating them to achieve company objectives.
  • Coaching and Training: Offer coaching, training, and oversight to installation teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.
  • Sales Coordination: Collaborate with sales personnel to gather necessary information for fulfilling contract terms and meeting customer expectations.
  • Job Review: Thoroughly review paperwork and pictures in the sales packet to understand job requirements and identify any deficiencies or inaccuracies prior to processing.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve discrepancies in the job scope (e.g., incorrect equipment sizing, inadequate space, wrong equipment type) promptly.
  • Instruction Production: Create clear instructions within Work Orders, ensuring installers have all necessary information for successful job completion.
  • Material Inventory: Compile a complete inventory of required materials and manage requisitions accordingly.
  • Scoping Process: Execute the Scoping Process to ensure 100% accuracy in job scope assessments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5-10 years residential install experience
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • EPA Certification required
  • 6B Electrical License preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

  • The work is split between the shop/office and customer properties.
  • Primarily working on customer properties, with occasional office-based meetings or training.
  • Work includes exposure to all types of weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, and cold. Jobs may also involve work in confined spaces.
  • Exposure to loud noise from machinery and tools, as well as odors from sewer systems and waste.
  • Adherence to all OSHA and WISHA safety regulations.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
