POSITION SUMMARY:

The Harts HVAC Maintenance Expert is responsible for performing thorough inspections, preventative maintenance, cleanings and/or enhancements on residential HVAC systems. This role emphasizes ensuring system efficiency, customer satisfaction, and delivering exceptional service to maintain HVAC system performance and longevity.

JOB PARAMETERS:

The HVAC Maintenance Expert position is a full time, commission position, with shifts typically occurring Monday through Friday. Shifts will vary within the hours of 6:30am and 6:00pm. Commission-Based teammates earn between 2%-18% per project subtotal with expected earnings between $52,000-$125,000 per year.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting system components to ensure optimal performance.
  • Use of Technology: Utilize mobile phones, office messaging systems, iPads, and industry-specific software for job tracking, communication, and service documentation.
  • System Inspections: Conduct comprehensive whole-home HVAC system evaluations, identifying any issues and recommending necessary cleanings and/or enhancements.
  • Customer Communication: Clearly communicate the condition of HVAC systems to homeowners, explaining any required cleanings, enhancements, and/or preventative measures.
  • Preventative Measures: Identify potential problems early and recommend preventative solutions to avoid potential repairs or system breakdowns.
  • Proposal Development: Develop multi-option proposals/estimates for necessary cleanings and/or enhancements and present them to customers following the Harts service process.
  • KPI Performance: Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including customer satisfaction, maintenance completion rates, and upsell opportunities for system enhancements.
  • Sales and Revenue Accountability: Drive revenue by upselling service agreements and additional services based on system evaluations and customer needs.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with dispatch, customer service representatives, and install coordinators to ensure efficient scheduling and seamless service delivery.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure your service vehicle is clean, well-stocked, and safe, performing regular assessments for repairs and hazards.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support team goals and optimize customer service.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:

  • 1+ years of experience in residential HVAC Maintenance.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC system maintenance and preventative care.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to identify and recommend system cleanings and/or enhancements.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
