POSITION SUMMARY:

The Harts Customer Service Representative Lead is responsible for booking inbound and outbound leads as directed as well as other key CSR job functions.

JOB PARAMETERS:

The CSR is a full time, hourly position. The first two weeks during training will be scheduled for Monday-Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm. After training, two schedule options are available for selection (scheduled weekends): Saturday – Wednesday 8:00am – 5:00pm (5 days a week, 8 hours shifts) OR Saturday – Tuesday 7:00am – 6:00pm (4 days a week, 10 hours shifts). Occasional overtime is expected, as requested.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Summary:
The Harts Sewer Apprentice is responsible for assisting with any and all requested tasks on the jobsite and in the warehouse. They are also responsible for working through the apprentice program requirements in order to become a Sewer Lead.
Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Shadow with a Sewer Lead by assisting with excavation, replacing/repairing water main lines and/or sewer lines by using cutting edge equipment
  • Prepares for the jobs each day by arriving with required personal tools and helping organize, clean and load vehicles with necessary supplies.
  • Keep all safety equipment maintained and use safety gear and Personal Protective Equipment daily as required.
  • Keeps job sites clean and orderly at all times for a safe environment. Picks up parts, permits and equipment as needed on job sites.
  • In working to complete jobs, do whatever is requested of them to help the work be more efficient and to help learn more core skills to grow knowledge.
  • Help Parts & Equipment Expert weekly with organizing and cleaning of shop as needed.
  • Weekly, assist with the washing and interior detailing of vehicles.
  • Every day ensure that all equipment used, like borer, burster, cameras, shovels etc. are cleaned and lubed
  • Reports any concerns including breaks, scratches, dents, leaks or missing parts for vehicles and equipment. Performs other duties as assigned.

The Big Task…

You will help build and grow our Septic Service department by first being in the field setting the standards for septic system excellence and then hiring, training and leading a world-class team as the customer base grows. You will diagnose and repair septic systems and lead customers to informed, confident buying decisions that will create peace of mind for a lifetime! Over time, you will build and lead the best Septic team in the business!

Key Duties:

  • Diagnose problems and repair septic systems
  • Installations of tanks and reserve areas
  • Repair and restoration of septic systems
  • Lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions
  • Manage customer expectations and deliver exemplary service; handle escalated customer concerns
  • Understand sales criteria and hold yourself and others accountable for exceeding revenue, conversion rate, average ticket, and billable hourly proficiency goals
  • Build Septic department including recruiting, training, process documentation, creating a price book for services and an inventory list for vehicles
  • Lead a team of septic technicians as the department grows including performance management through coaching, 1:1’s, ride alongs, 90 days plans, and reviews.
  • Participate in and contribute to leadership activities; shape company culture by carrying out values, ethics and integrity

Requirements:

  • Septic Maintenance Level 2 Certification
  • Septic Installer Certification
  • 5 years septic experience. Experience leading a team preferred
  • Have and maintain a clean driving record. CDL would be beneficial
