GLASS INSULATION:

The phrase “glass insulation” sounds a bit off, doesn’t it? In this circumstance I am referring to fiberglass insulation. “Fiberglass Pipe Insulation Covering” is the most common form of insulation and has many uses and places in which it is important. It is intended as a thermal insulation for hot and cold service piping which ranges in temperatures from -20°F to 850°F.

Fiber glass is typical uses include:

1. domestic hot and cold water piping
2. hot water heating
3. high temperature
4. dual temperature
5. steam
6. condensation
7. refrigerated lines
8. noise barrier
9. temperature control

Fiberglass can be used throughout a home or business in wall piping, under the property, and in attic and basement spaces. It is inexpensive and can be self installed if you are comfortable doing so.
